Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora ki Kirikiriroa is now inviting expressions of interest from artists, companies and producers interested in being part of our 2026 programme.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the internationally award-winning Hamilton Gardens and key venues across the city, the festival is Waikato’s flagship celebration of the performing arts. Each summer, we present a curated programme of theatre, music, comedy, dance, cabaret, and unique experiences that reflect the vibrancy, diversity and mana of Aotearoa’s creative communities.

We’re passionate about creating unforgettable moments – from large-scale outdoor spectacles to intimate, thought-provoking performances – and are especially interested in works that connect with our audiences in new and surprising ways, including projects that are achievable within our current resources and that activate and respond to the unique landscape, stories, and spaces of the Hamilton Gardens.
