Although the exhibition is a couple of years away, we appreciate that botanical artists need at least one growing season to research their chosen plant, hence the early announcement.
Expressions of interest will be taken from now onwards - we wish to know what plant/plants you are considering to study. This is so if we find that you have chosen to portray a plant species that is very popular, we will contact you so you can choose another.
We will be asking for entries for selection from early 2024 in readiness for selection November 2024.
The exhibition will open April 2025 in Auckland and although venues are still to be confirmed, it is anticipated that the exhibition will travel round the North and South Islands over the next few months.
