The New Zealand Choral Federation Kotahitanga manu reo o Aotearoa (NZCF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the performance, creation and enjoyment of group singing for all. We are looking for an experienced accounts administrator who is strongly customer-focussed to join our small but dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have solid data entry skills, a keen focus on accuracy and detail, and will be able to work effectively from home as part of a dispersed staff.

The Finance Administrator will support the Finance and Membership Manager in providing financial and membership services to NZCF.  This includes data entry (accounts payable, accounts receivable), reporting, answering queries, and supporting the maintenance of the CRM database.

The successful applicant will have a suitable home office.

KEY TASKS

As the Finance Administrator you will…

  • handle accounts payable, including coding invoices and entering transactions in Xero
  • reconcile bank accounts
  • assist with the preparation of quarterly Board reporting and Annual Financial Statements
  • process event and membership registrations  and invoice accordingly
  • assist with other administrative tasks across the organisation

The necessary training will be provided in the functionality of the NZCF CRM database.

This is a part-time contract role, working from a home-based office, with remuneration in the range of $35-40 per hour, depending on experience.
