The New Zealand Choral Federation Kotahitanga manu reo o Aotearoa (NZCF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the performance, creation and enjoyment of group singing for all. We are Aotearoa’s largest choral network, with over 20,000 members drawn from hundreds of community, school and chamber choirs. Visit the NZCF website.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to manage and grow NZCF’s revenue generation strategy by developing new membership incentives, increasing grant revenue, engaging donors and securing commercial partnerships. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can tell our stories in a compelling way, capturing the passion and professionalism at the heart of all we do.

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for enhancing connections between NZCF and its funders, will work cooperatively and productively with the NZCF team, and will bring their own skills, experience and connections to the role. The position will be supported by the Communications Administrator during busy periods. 

The successful applicant will have a suitable home office.

KEY TASKS

As the Fundraising Manager you will…

  • manage and expand NZCF’s programme of community grants applications
  • develop new strategies to grow NZCF’s membership 
  • manage and maintain strong relationships with existing partners and stakeholders
  • identify and develop partnerships with new commercial sponsors
  • build relationships with philanthropic donors and develop a culture of giving within NZCF

 

This is a fixed term role to the end of 2025, working from a home-based office, with pro rata annual remuneration in the range of $80-85k, depending on experience.
