Artspace Aotearoa is seeking applications for the 2026 Kaiwhakamahiri Pirihi Taiwhenua Curatorial Internship. From February to December 2026 the Curatorial Intern will deliver their own programme in our lower ground floor space (The Kit) and assist with the main gallery’s operations.

 

This internship will offer essential early arts career development through practical experience with the support of Artspace Aotearoa staff and an external mentor. The Curatorial Internship is funded by Creative New Zealand and will be offered annually over the course of 2025–2027.
