About the role
We're looking for a talented and motivated leader to join our Visitor Experiences Group as Manager - Venues and Events.
Based across the War Memorial Centre, Royal Whanganui Opera House, and Cooks Gardens Events Centre, you'll lead a team of venue and technical professionals delivering everything from major concerts and festivals to community celebrations. This is a pivotal role - balancing strategic growth with hands-on operational delivery. You'll have the chance to shape unforgettable event experiences while growing Whanganui's reputation as a destination.
You'll report to the Manager Visitor Experiences and be a key part of the wider Customer Experiences Group.
