Working across digital, social, and traditional media channels, this role is key to amplifying the Regent’s brand, promoting a diverse calendar of productions, and strengthening community engagement.
You will be responsible for crafting compelling content, coordinating marketing collateral, and analysing campaign performance to ensure our shows and initiatives reach the widest possible audience. This is a dynamic role that also includes relationship management—working closely with sponsors, venue partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain and grow valuable connections.
We’re looking for a strong communicator with an eye for detail, a talent for storytelling, and a genuine passion for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and outdoor media
- Write and design engaging content for social media, website, e-newsletters, and press releases
- Coordinate production and distribution of marketing collateral and venue signage
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
- Collaborate with touring companies and promoters to support production-specific marketing
- Manage relationships with sponsors, media partners, and community organisations
- Assist with maintaining and developing the Regent Theatre brand
- Support audience development and community outreach initiatives
About You
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and storytelling skills across multiple platforms
- Proficiency with social media and digital marketing tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Desirable:
- Experience in arts marketing or event promotion
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Knowledge of the local arts and cultural landscape
- A passion for the performing arts and community engagement
