Tauranga City Council are on the lookout for a mural artist to bring colour, creativity and connection to the heart of Tauranga.
Tauranga City Council is commissioning a new large-scale mural for the Elizabeth Street Parking Building, a high-profile site in the CBD seen by thousands of locals and visitors each day.
The mural will respond to the themes of the building’s six levels: native habitats, bold colours, and identifiers like the fantail, katipō and pūriri moth.
Key information:
Artists are responsible for materials, surface preparation, travel, and any required equipment hire. Tauranga City Council will provide graffiti protection, parking, and a secure storage area on site.
