Te āheinga: The opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic and creative Publicity & Promotions Coordinator to join our School of Creative Industries. In this role, you will coordinate and execute publicity, marketing, and promotional activities for our productions and events. You will also manage stakeholder outreach, digital media content, and event bookings to enhance the school's profile and engagement through a range of savvy communications methods.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate publicity and marketing efforts for productions and events.
  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies with stakeholders.
  • Manage event bookings, including ticketing and front-of-house coordination.
  • Create and deliver high-quality digital media content.
  • Support growth initiatives and manage publicity budgets.

You are a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the arts and communication. You have a knack for storytelling and can craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Your experience in the creative sector has equipped you with the skills to manage publicity and promotions effectively to confidently engage a wide range of communities of practice. You are a natural collaborator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. 

 

Your excellent writing and communication skills, combined with your ability to think strategically, make you a perfect fit for this role. A tertiary qualification in the arts or a related field is preferred, but your passion, values, and experience are what truly set you apart. You are a confident self-starter who always sees a project through to a successful outcome.
