The Zinni Douglas Merit Award for a Waiheke artist  - $1000

Michael Evans Award for a figurative Work - $1000

Cable Bay People's Choice Award - $1500

Gordon Harris Award - $500 voucher

The Selector and judge this year is Julia Waite, Curator, New Zealand Art, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki

16 July: Entries Open

29 September: Artists advised of selection results

10 October: Selected works received at the Gallery. Gallery Hours 10am - 4pm, 7 days.

Friday 17 October: Exhibition opens 6pm

Saturday 18 October: Awards Ceremony at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery 

Sunday 16 November: Exhibition Closes 4pm. Unsold works available for collection

 

Criteria

The exhibition is open to any New Zealand resident upon payment of entry fee (non refundable) $55. Entry requires one work per artist. Every work must be original, the sole work of the artist and not completed in a class of instruction, must have been completed within the last year and must be for sale. 

Artist Information

If this your first time visiting the website you will need to create an account, to complete the entry and pay online.

Your images and entry details will go into an image gallery and be assessed by our selector. If you do not have access to a computer then please contact us to submit.

Work must be presented ready for exhibition hanging and must be no larger than 1200mm in height or length.

Appropriate packaging, insurance and freight costs are the artist's responsibility. WCAG reserves the right to decline or accept any entry. The judge's decision is final an no correspondence will be entered into. 

The Gallery reserves the right to reproduce entry images for publicity purposes. Poorly presented work may be disqualified.

Please attach to the work: the name and address of the artists, the retail price of the work (including GST), the title, size and medium.

Prepaid courier ticket or similar must be included for return of work. Delivery and return of work is at the responsibility of the submitter.
