This opportunity is for a Wellington based emerging or mid-career Film/TV Producer. The Producer Intern will shadow the process alongside Pop Film of selecting a screenwriter to undertake the Screenwriter Residency.
The internship comprises of script assessment and development meetings alongside the writer, director and producer to learn the instincts for what makes a good script to pursue for development; facilitation and attendance at the script read-through and 3 x one-on-one meetings with Vicky Pope on aspects of producing.
A stipend of $2500 will be awarded for the producer internship.
Write Room is a program offered in partnership with Pop Film and Toi Pōneke Arts Centre.
