Rockquest Promotions Ltd is seeking a dynamic and talented Youth Development Programme Manager to join our team. The Youth Development Programme Manager will be responsible for planning and executing programmes that support young people's personal and creative development in the arts industries. This role will work closely with schools, mentors, artists, industry bodies, and volunteers to provide engaging and meaningful experiences for young people interested in the creative arts - music, performing arts, and film. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with young people and provide support, information and resources.
  • Plan and execute events and programmes that support young people's personal and creative development in the arts industries - specifically music, performing arts & film.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations, industry bodies, artists, schools, and volunteers to ensure successful programme coordination.
  • Manage programme logistics, including scheduling, bookings, surveying and reporting. 
  • Develop and manage programme budget, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Coordinate programme volunteers and mentors, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure that events and programmes align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and make recommendations for improvements.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, Youth work, a related field, or previous work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a youth development setting, preferably in the creative industries or education 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners, artists, volunteers, and young participants
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Knowledge of youth development best practices and experience working with young people
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required and travel nationwide as needed - around event schedules
  • Full driver's licence
