NEW WORK is a series focusing on the generation of ideas encouraging artists and curators to develop new work that pushes at the boundaries of their practice.Enjoy is looking for proposals from artists and curators that push both personal and artform boundaries and aim to contribute to wider contemporary cultural debate. Proposals should directly address how the concept/work fits within these contexts.

Funded under Creative New Zealand's Visual Arts New Work category (subject to approval), NEW WORK aims to support contemporary arts practitioners by upholding Enjoy's aim to provide a platform that encourages critical engagement with the influences and framework to which contemporary arts practice is subject.

Proposals are due at Enjoy by 6pm Monday May 10 2004. Please go to www.enjoy.org.nz/enjoy-about.asp for information about submitting a proposal. You are welcome to contact Enjoy to discuss your proposal prior to submission.
