I am passionate about making creative projects happen. I am a strong facilitator and people person. I have managed a public gallery and helped to evitalise the Artist in Residence programme at the Arts Centre in Christchurch prior to its cancellation post earthquake. I am a member of the Free Theatre Christchurch ensemble and have performed and toured regularly over the last 4 years. I am one of the creators of Gap Filler- an initiative which places temporary creative projects on gaps created by the earthquake (or otherwise) in ChCh city. www.gapfiller.org.nz
Gap Filler. We want to help bring energy and vitality to the central city by creatively activating gaps created by the recent earthquakes. Creative projects include - live performance, music, film, gardens, games and art installations amongst other ideas. There are a lot of people in ChCh passionate about bringing life back into the city, reeling at the impact of the quakes on the city and the Arts. It is also a time for ChCh to be progressive and open-minded and re-think its approaches towards space, the city and the value of temporary uses of space. See gapfiller.org.nz for more info and pictures.
