Jenni is Producer at Massive Company, prior to this she served as the Maori and Pacific Island Playwright Development Coordinator for Playmarket. She also freelances in theatre production, and on the odd occasion does a bit of acting. She has fifteen years experience within television, film, theatre, festivals and museums, both nationally and internationally.
Jenni is a passionate advocate for creating and developing new Maori and Pasifika theatre, both in productions and in opportunities for practitioners. As a freelance producer, she has worked with Loud & Brown Limited and Kila Kokonut Krew. She is also one of the coordinators of the Banana Boat Writers group, which meets on the fourth Thursday of every month.
The BANANA BOAT is a loose collective of Pasifika writers who meet once a month in Grey Lynn, Auckland.
