"The winning clip provided a humorous, drug-fuelled romp through urban culture," said coordinator Dave Turnbull. "Attention to detail and complex compositing impressed the judges and the overall feel was directly in-keeping with the mood of the music.""When I'm in the midst of putting together a clip like this, things could go anywhere...or in the case of a hard drive failure, nowhere," he says. "So once it reaches the public domain and - in this case - gets recognised nationally, it's really dope! (pun intended)."

Mark's videos for "Electric Dream" by Shapeshifter and Open Souls' "Turn It Up" also made it into the finals.

Last year Mark was Runner Up in the directing category for Sola Rosa's "Badman". He previously won Best Video at the 2004 b-Net Awards with Shane Mason for "Fools Love" by The Misfits of Science, which made the finals of C4's Best Music Video the same year.

The Kodak Music Clip Awards are an annual ceremony celebrating the craft of making music clips. This year's judges were Matthew Knight, Morgan Barnard and Anna Lee.

Best Director Runners Up included The Datsuns' "Waiting for your Time to Come" by feature filmmaker Greg Page (The Locals); The Black Seeds' "The Answer" (which also picked up the award for Best Animation) directed, shot and edited by Ed Davis; and SJD's "Beautiful Haze", directed by Lawrence Blankenbyl, which also picked up Best DOP for Ginny Loane.

The Knack Award, presented for high production value at low production cost, went to Anastassia Smirnova for The Sagittarian's "Karma Killer".

Prizes include gear and services from Panavision; Park Road Post; Kodak; Atlab: The Dub Shop: Portsmouth; Upper Deck; Love Your Grip and the Gibson Group.
