‘Adopt an Artwork’ is an art exhibition and silent auction to raise funds for local charity The Lonely Miaow. Dedicated volunteers at the Lonely Miaow rescue stray cats and kittens in Auckland and find loving homes for them.

There are lots of stray, dumped and badly neglected cats and kittens in this city with huge pressure on organisations like the Lonely Miaow to assist. With out our support they will continue to struggle and many cats and kittens in Auckland will go unheard and suffer from abuse and neglect.

“Every day we receive calls about injured, starving and lonely cats and kittens. They do their best to survive in car parks, gardens, building sites or patches of bush but the suffering many of them endure is heartbreaking. They have a daily battle with dangers such as cars, dogs, disease, starvation and nasty people” The Lonely Miaow 

There is hope though! You can help by coming along to The Depot Gallery at 2pm on the 17^th April and purchasing an artwork. 80% of funds raised will go to this fabulous charity and to help many kittens and cats around Auckland. 

You can pick up an artwork from some of the best emerging and established artists in Auckland at a great price and help the Lonely Miaow all at the same time.
