Bing Dawe, Samantha Lissette, Richard Mathieson, David McCracken, Marte Szirmay and Jim Wheeler have banded together to attract more attention. The sculptors are attempting a "combined reputation event" showing their recent sculpture as a small group."Art Gang" was an exhibition title proposed by Samantha Lissette which expressed the group's energy and desire to command a larger response from the buying public. All six artists are showing independent directions in their work rather than contributing under a single theme. Using a wide range of materials, a cohesion of commitment exists among the 15 sculptures displayed, making this single exhibition a mini-survey of current directions in sculpture.
