Blow08 is a celebration of the work of staff, students, friends and international guests of Massey University's College of Creative Arts. "This year's festival is bigger and better than ever before" says Festival Director Drew Naika. "Fed up with all the hot air and bluster of the election? Freshen up at Massey University's Blow 08 Nga hau e wha Creative Arts Festival!
Blow08 is a celebration of the work of staff, students, friends and international guests of Massey University's College of Creative Arts. "This year's festival is bigger and better than ever before" says Festival Director Drew Naika. "This year our programme includes contributions from the New Zealand School of Music, Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School, the New Zealand School of Dance and Massey University's School of English and Media Studies. Wellington is blessed with an incredible amount of talent in its tertiary institutions. Blow gives them the opportunity to showcase their talent over an event-filled two weeks from 7 -22nd November."
The Festival features performances, exhibitions, public lectures and workshops.

Exposure 08: The College of Creative Arts end of year student exhibition
FOYA Collective08: the College of Creative Arts' Fashion Show
The 'PXLThis' Film Festival, brought to New Zealand for the first time
The Dominion String Quartet launch of its second CD of Alfred Hill string quartets on the Naxos label
The New Zealand School of Dance graduate season
Two Pianos performance by Richard Mapp and Deidre Irons
International guests include: Gerry Fialka (USA), Frank Breuer (Ger), Wilma Korenromp (Ned), Hannes Rall (Sing)

The festival will conclude with the induction of three more of the College of Creative Arts' illustrious alumni into its Hall of Fame at an invitation only black tie gala dinner.
