Deborah Sweeney is a high end, youth oriented brand. Her clever designs are a feminine, eclectic and colourful mix of casual and tailored silhouettes. Pieces are infinitely wearable with extra special attention to detail and quality.
Designer Deborah returned to New Zealand to establish her label in 2002, after working for Jill Stuart in New York and designing for High St stores such as Top Shop and H&M in London.She completed a Fashion Diploma at Massey University, Wellington in 1991 and also studied accessories at the London Royal College of Fashion in 2000.

Her husband, Niels Meyer-Westfield, is a graphic designer/photographer. With their combined skills they are able to create individual looks through designing unique prints. Niels completed a Masters degree at London's St Martins College. He has worked for companies such as The Body Shop and MTV, later running his own business in the UK.

The collection is stocked in selected boutiques in seven countries around the globe including the UK, USA, Denmark and Australia. Previous collections have received credits from several international fashion publications including Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, iD, Nylon, Jane, Lucky and Elle Magazine.
