Stolen Girlfriends Club is a pop culture label built on vision and creativity. Their innovative ideas are based on the influences of fashion, art and music. Youthfulness, irreverence and a tongue-in-chic attitude are the driving forces behind the NZ made brand. This attitude is working just as well abroad as it is at home, and has earned the Club a celebrity following that includes Juliette Lewis, Kate Bosworth and Daisy Lowe, alongside cool kids everywhere.Designer: Marc Moore & Zara Mirkin

Stolen Girlfriends Club is a pop culture label built on vision and creativity. Their innovative ideas are based on the influences of fashion, art and music. Youthfulness, irreverence and a tongue-in-chic attitude are the driving forces behind the NZ made brand. This attitude is working just as well abroad as it is at home, and has earned the Club a celebrity following that includes Juliette Lewis, Kate Bosworth and Daisy Lowe, alongside cool kids everywhere.Wondering what it all means? For some people, Stolen Girlfriends Club is a cool name that leaves a distorted noise in your ear. To others it's about love lost and found. That bubble where even breathing hurts but as days go by you gradually move on. It's that moment when the greatest songs are written and the most incredible art is produced. Once you've experienced the club you'll always be able to relate to it. If you don't know the feeling, you haven't lived.

Co-founders and directors Marc Moore, Luke Harwood and Dan Gosling want people to interpret Stolen Girlfriends Club in their own way. "It's a way of life - the brand represents a lifestyle we live and share with our friends". All three come from a background in the commercial surf industry - Marc and Luke are both ex pro surfers - and all have worked with international fashion forward brands. In time the boys outgrew their boardies (surf shorts), each taking their attributes in creative marketing, distribution, and business knowledge to form Stolen Girlfriends Club in 2005. Collectively they have that perfect mix of down to earth creativity and business know-how.

A mere three years on and the brand already has a strong international presence and a growing demand. Insouciant creativity and that rare ability to think outside the square has contributed to the label's success. Individuality and authenticity has developed the brand right down to the way that it lives and breathes. Stolen Girlfriends Club continually leaves its followers in search of what the brand will do next, with constant acts of bravado and originality.

Stolen Girlfriends Club debuted at Air New Zealand Fashion Week to an overwhelming response, securing them international coverage in exclusive media such as Dazed & Confused (UK), Sportswear International (US), Paper (US), Style.com (US), Yen Magazine (AUS) and Black Magazine (NZ).

Unlike most high-end fashion brands Stolen Girlfriends Club doesn't take itself too seriously, often appearing 'un-pc' and sometimes downright uncouth, which is a refreshing approach to the fashion industry. The brand's quirky, youthful and rebellious spirit continues to allure a diverse market - "Uber punks, fashion drunks & movie stars in shitbox cars - "

The bus is leaving and you better not miss the ride, Peace and Aloha to all!
