Tuesday 3 October 2006, 6.30pmHe will be making his Auckland debut on Tuesday 3 October at the launch of Angel's comic book series entitled, 'THE ADVENTURES OF AFI - EPISODE VII - WARS OF THE HEART' (Episode VII is the first to go to print)
We are pleased to invite you to be among the first to view a slide show of the comic's 40-page collection of full-colour hand drawn images which showcase the considerable skill of their creator.
An artist and animator, Angel credits training with Firehorse Films where he worked on the hugely successful TV3 cartoon series bro'Town with helping fine-tune the line drawing technique he needed to bring his fire-dancing, kick boxing superhero to life.
Former Mr Universe and five times winner of the Mr South Pacific Body Building Championships Tony Liga Liga will provide guests with real-life representation of Afi and his prowess on the night. Samoan sisters Marina and Lisa, meanwhile will infuse the atmosphere with the soft strains of South Pacific music.
This is an opportunity to meet a rare talent and take home an autographed copy of the Pacific's first superhero comic.
