This is a Q&A session with Joseph Olin interviewing Dean Hoff and Chris Waters (Oktobor Animation) as they recount the mad dash to build a studio and bring Nickelodeon to New Zealand.

And then on Friday October 5th there is a morning Masterclass with: Rusty Tracy, CG Supervisor for Nickelodeon Animation Studios, and Dean Hoff who will give a general "state of the union" for CG animation. Here you’ll learn how Nickelodeon is pushing the boundaries of what viewers can expect from television production as well as discussing where they see the industry going creatively and what skills will be essential for artists and studios.

And finally, as an unofficial, but rather cool, kick-off to AnimfxNZ, Webstock are running a Webstock Mini on the evening of Wednesday 3 November. Called "The Mix and Mash Mini" it's based around the themes of remixing content and mashing up data. For a well-spent $18, you'll see great speakers and have a most excellent time!
