With 50,000 members and 3 million pages served up every year - we wanted to focus on what you want to see and do. Here's what's new and some tips to get started.

You will immediately notice the latest design including our new logo. The creative sparks behind our fresh look are Threaded Media creative directors Kyra Clarke and Fiona Grieve. We wanted to emphasise The Big Idea’s role as an anchor for many creative people in New Zealand, using colours and symbols that evoke the South Pacific to strengthen our sense of place.
We also have a new mantra, Valuing Creativity // Accelerating Success. We’re part of a growing movement to expand a new economy for creativity that values imagination, talent and drive. Our purpose is to back you as a creative person, organisation or business to help maximise your potential for long-term sustainability and success.
A special thanks to Sparks Interactive who have worked with our team led by The Big Idea's project manager Bevan Rudge; and to our website development investors, Arts Regional Trust and the Lion Foundation.
