InDesign Hot Tip - Splitting Columns.

In this InDesign training resource I'll show you one of my favorite tricks for InDesign users!

This InDesign training shows you how to split columns.

What you need:

  • InDesign CS5 or above.
  • Basic InDesign skills.
Setting the scene:

You have a bulleted list to format and you are not looking forward to battling with the poorly designed 'tabs' tool in InDesign.

Get started:

1. Highlight the list of bullets in your story
2. From the top bar select Split 3
3. Job done!

Note: The list is evenly spaced and you can't adjust them.

A real time saver and easy to implement.

If you thought this tip was awesome or if you have any questions about how this feature works please leave me a comment. I love feedback.
