Love Bites is a festival of four short plays about love, all presented in one evening of great entertainment by Shoreside Theatre.

The award-winning Sexual Perversity in Chicago by David Mamet takes funny and painful digs at the fantasies and distances of the contemporary sexual game, following the lives of four singles lurking in the dangerous depth of the dating game. Full of barroom banter, sexual boasts and a dog in a dubious position!

In Josephine Carter’s Shadows it would appear that Erica lives alone in one room, happy with her memories and the 'shadows' of people she once knew. But in this play nothing is quite what it seems.

If Cupid brings lovers together, who keeps them apart? North Shore playwright Mike Borgfeldt answers this question in this world premiere of Cupid’s Bane. A hilarious look at drunken one-night stands, and the supernatural forces helping human nature along.

In Foreplay, writer David Ives presents the unlikely combination of the sport of seduction and a round of golf. This fast paced, double entendre filled comedy sees Chuck, a miniature golf loving ladies man, on three simultaneous liaisons.

Performed at the intimate Theatreworks in Birkenhead, Love Bites promises to be a great night of comedy and laughs. Please note that some of the plays contain coarse language and strong sexual themes. Content may offend.

Cash door sales available 30 minutes prior to performance. Join us at the bar for a drink before the show. Please note there are no Eftpos or Credit Card facilities at the venue.

A booking fee/delivery fee may apply
