Following a worldwide search, two young NZ actresses - Rose McIver and Carolyn Dando - have landed roles in Peter Jackson's film adaption of The Lovely Bones. While Dando is new to the screen, McIver has previously appeared in Rude Awakenings and Maddigan's Quest. The two Kiwis join Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Ryan Gosling, Stanley Tucci and Michael Imperioli. Filming is due to begin in October.
