Peter Jackson's latest movie, based on a novel by Alice Sebold, tells the story of suburban Philadelphia teen who is murdered by a neighbour. Ryan Gosling, who was to play the teen's father, quit the film recently and has been replaced by Mark Wahlberg. Fametastic.co.uk reports that Gosling doesn't hold a grudge against the Kiwi director: "The age of the character versus my real age was always a concern of mine. Peter and I tried to make it work and ultimately it just didn't."
