Much more than a music festival, this is a weekend promoting peace, keeping to the kaupapa established by the pa founders, Te Whiti O Rongomai and Tohu Kakahi, in the 1860s. All performers, speakers and films reflect this kaupapa.
Other mainstage performers include David Grace & Injustice, Emma Paki, katchafire, Kora, Ladi6, Little Bushman, Mana3, The Midnights, Opensouls, Paul Ubana Jones, Spartacus R and Urban Pacific.
A second stage, Taumata Kitenga (Visionaries Stage), will highlight local Taranaki talent, while the Rongomau Electronis Art Zone will again feature top DJs, VJs and dance acts, including Pitch Black, The Nomad and Antix.
Speakers include Hone Harawira, Moana Jackson and Hazel Riseborough; films to be screened include Michael Franti's I Know I'm Not Alone and Kathleen Gallagher's Tau Te Mauri (Breath Of Peace), winner of the 2004 Sonya Davies Peace Award.
