Power Box Art Corner K Road and Symonds St Most of us have noticed the proliferation of art (of varying appeal) on power boxes. This painting has been executed entirely by hand using aerosol spray cans. Worked from two small photographs it bears a suspicious resemblance to Deirdre Dawson of Disrupt Gallery fame.

Its creator, Akut, was one of four international judges flown here for the WRITE4GOLD graffiti art competition. Akut was commissioned to execute this work by the K Road Business Association with funding provided by Auckland City Council.
