Zambesi epitomises individual spirit, redefining convention with an ironic practicality, confirming its reputation in the global market for strength, beauty and independence.
History and memory contribute strongly to Elisabeth Findlay's attitude to design. The clothes reflect both realism and imagination.
"My desire is to propose unexpected contrasts to give the collections a harder edge whilst pursuing the notion of function and wearability."
Vintage cuts are given innovative interpretations. Disregarding obvious fashion trends, Zambesi's focus is to produce collections which can continually evolve, creating a brand that enjoys cult status.
Established by Elisabeth and Neville Findlay in 1979, Zambesi continues to extend and challenge. They attribute the success of the label to the collaborative effort of their dedicated team and to their tireless passion for creating clothes.
