By the end of last year the four boys from Wanganui called The Have had shifted to Auckland, released a couple of singles, were sponsored by Converse and Red Bull, signed a deal with Shock Records, got accepted to perform at the 2004 South by South West Music Festival in Austin, Texas, then their single 'Right On' was used in an X-box television commercial, and next thing the A&R Worldwide Network in Los Angeles endorsed them as 'one to watch'. By the end of last year the four boys from Wanganui called The Have had shifted to Auckland, released a couple of singles, were sponsored by Converse and Red Bull, signed a deal with Shock Records, got accepted to perform at the 2004 South by South West Music Festival in Austin, Texas, then their single 'Right On' was used in an X-box television commercial, and next thing the A&R Worldwide Network in Los Angeles endorsed them as 'one to watch'.The Have are proud to announce the release of their debut recording 'The Have Mini-Album' on April 19 through the good folk at Shock Records in
New Zealand.

The 'mini-album' contains 7 tracks that showcase a couple of the very first songs The Have wrote back in 2002, through to a few newer songs that maps their growth over last couple of years.   It features the
singles 'Right On', 'The Fuzz' and upcoming single 'What You Owe' (released to radio mid March).

Since releasing their first single 'Right On' in late 2002, the four boys from Wanganui have had a fantastic couple of years. By the end of last year they had shifted up to Auckland, released a couple of singles,
were sponsored by Converse and Red Bull, signed a deal with Shock Records and found out that they had been accepted to perform at the 2004 South by South West Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

'Right On' was used in an X-box Television Commercial, as well as on a Canterbury Commercial that was played in Rugby Stadiums in NZ.
Canterbury has just extended the rights for Australia - and the commercial is being screened right now in Australian football stadiums during the Super 12s.

Leading up to the March performance at South By South West, the A&R Worldwide Network in Los Angeles have endorsed The Have and are not only
touting them as 'one to watch' at SXSW, but have sent the 'mini-album' to influential US radio PD's, Record Company and Publishing A&R Managers, and bookers.

Before leaving for Austin they are performing a couple of gigs with Slavetrader.   And when they return you can catch them at the Kings Arms with Savant before they hit the road in May on a 3 week national school
tour with Pluto.   Visit www.thehave.com for further details.
