This forum is envisaged as a space where graduates of Toi Whakaari and other professionals can come together and reflect on questions related to performance, leadership and training.

Participants are expected to bring a current area of concern or a current working question to reflect on in the forum. Sessions will be a mixture of discussion, enquiry and applied practice.

Participants can expect to gain insight into their current approaches, get connected up with other practitioners and gain a greater understanding and commitment to their unique purpose, vision and direction.

Director Christian Penny says: "I want to run these sessions so that there is a place where the graduates of all of the programmes of Toi Whakaari and other interested professionals could come together, gain support from each other and connect up.

"I developed this model of leadership training over the nine years I ran the Master of Theatre Arts in Directing at the School. Graduates have often said they would value a place where they could continue to grow in this way – however I wanted to make sure it addressed leadership and performance questions from a range of perspectives."
