The performance schedule for Toi o Manukau’s Waitangi Day Family Celebrations has been confirmed.
The day commences with a Mihi Whakatau (opening ceremony) then a range of performances by cultural groups representing the diversity of South Auckland.

The day commences with a Mihi Whakatau (opening ceremony) then a range of performances by cultural groups representing the diversity of South Auckland.
Headline act Sola Rosa, featuring Iva Lamkum, and international guest Fiji are supported by a strong local line-up, with Three Houses Down, Adeaze, Sweet & Irie and Valiant Boys all originating in South Auckland. Wellington acts Vintage and Ria Hall will also be performing.
The free, outdoor, family event provides an opportunity for residents to celebrate New Zealand’s national day in a dynamic festival environment complete with entertainment, education, a marketplace, and free kids’ rides.
Fans will also be able to meet their favourite artists in person at the Mai FM signing tent throughout the day.
Toi o Manukau’s Waitangi Day Family Celebrations are supported by Auckland Council, the Ministry for Culture and Heritage, The Lion Foundation and Mai FM.
