Whenua Films announces the short film fund short list

Whenua Films has announced its shortlist for the New Zealand Film Commission short film fund. We received 87 scripts and were impressed by the wide variety of themes and genre that were covered. We were pleased to see an increased number of them dealing with themes of identity, and reflecting a diverse range of experiences of what it means to be a New Zealander. It is scripts dealing with those sorts of themes that Whenua Films were interested in funding and have subsequently shortlisted. Check out the website for information on the script selection.
