The Whitecliffe Alumni Association (WAA) is proud to present New Works 2006, an eclectic show of recent works by Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design BFA and MFA Alumni. The WAA is delighted to have Jennifer Buckley, of Oedipus Rex Gallery in Auckland, as a juror and curator of this exhibition of new work by Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design graduates. Out of 28 entries of work, ranging from photography, painting, video work, installation, and fashion, Buckley will make a final selection of works to be exhibited at Randolph Street Gallery.
The Whitecliffe Alumni Association is an incorporated society, working to promote and support Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design, its student body, faculty, staff and alumni and their various activities, but foremost to promote and support their alumni's future. WAA President Robin Barnaby says: "We are a vehicle to information sharing about what is happening at the College, what we as individuals are achieving and how as an association we can support personal and collective growth. Exhibitions such as New Works 2006 are an excellent way to achieve our goal."New Works 2006
