Digital culture columnist Helen Baxter will be wandering around WOMAD NZ to bring us updates this weekend.
The digital media diva she is, Helen starts off with what's in her MsBehaviour tech bag.

It’s been 21 years since my first WOMAD in the UK, so I am very excited to be packing to go to my first WOMAD New Zealand, reporting for The Big Idea. I’ve got my pop-up tent, sleeping mat, duvet & pillows for comfy camping, and a remote controlled LED tent torch for finding my tent in the dark.
Shorts, shades, sun hat, comfy shoes, repellent, sunscreen, water, warm clothes and coffee complete my festival essentials kit. In my tech bag I’ll be taking an Asus Transformer tablet and keyboard dock with extra battery for blogging and tweeting. For recording and tweeting on the move I’ll mainly be using my trusty Galaxy S2 phone. I’ve also thrown in a Logitech UE mobile Boombox for chilling out at the campsite.
I’ve loaded the WOMAD app (Android, IPhone) onto my phone and will be mainly using Twitter, Instagram, and UStream for recording and streaming video. Keep an eye on this Storify page (below), as we add to it over the weekend.
We’ll be in front of the Brooklands stage for the Melbourne Ska Orchestra on Saturday night, so come and join us: @thebigideanz
