Silo Theatre is a leading producer of new contemporary theatre based in Tāmaki Makaurau. We are currently seeking a Marketing & Ticketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This role works across a range of administration relating to the delivery of Silo Theatre’s annual season of artistic activity. A primary focus will be Silo’s internal ticketing functionality, assistance with season marketing and communications as well as general day-to-day operations alongside Silo Theatre’s core team. The role provides an important interface for Silo production whānau, season ticket holders, industry partners, external clients and suppliers. From administrative support for production and development initiatives through to assisting with hospitality and special events - this is a busy position that provides key operational consistency within a small and creative team.

Silo Theatre’s Marketing & Ticketing Coordinator will be someone who is a great communicator and understands the importance of working as part of a collaborative team but can also work independently. It goes without saying that your ability to multitask and juggle a variety of responsibilities will play a big part in your success in this role. 

This is a dynamic outward facing role for someone passionate about the arts. This position will help to build and strengthen key competencies for a career traversing marketing, producing and general management within the professional creative sector in Aotearoa.

Selection Criteria:

  • high level of word processing literacy and Excel spread sheeting capability (essential);
  • displays Initiative and can think critically;
  • highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
  • highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer service;
  • experience in arts/ entertainment administration, marketing, ticketing, and or producing/ production co-ordination preferred;
  • an awareness and understanding of the performing arts sector and/or theatre production is beneficial;
  • must hold a current full NZ drivers license.
