Are you a creative Graphic Designer looking for a new challenge?

The New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to work across its family of brands. This role is permanent, for 30 hours per week.

You will be responsible for creating engaging designs and content which are on brand for a diverse range of facilities, venues and campaigns.

Key accountabilities include the following:

  • A high level of customer service, working as one team, Kotahitanga
  • A 'can do' and flexible attitude
  • Designing content to a high brand standard including print material, digital content, merchandise and exhibition space
  • Be a champion for Brand Identity Guidelines
  • Provide specialist advice and support on design practices and procedures

As a creative thinker, you will be able to add real value to the team and will be highly productive. Your portfolio will display a wide array of work and demonstrate strong design fundamentals in typography and composition. You will be passionate about building strong relationships and producing outstanding design work.

NPDC is building a Sustainable Lifestyle Capital for its residents and ratepayers. It is made up of 16 different business units and manages $3.5 billion worth of assets.
