We're on the look out for an experienced Bar Manager to help BATS in its mission to be a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive community hub.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Customer service experience

Ability to work as part of a team

Management of personnel and staff

Staff recruitment and induction

Proven initiative

Problem solving skills

Cash handling and POS experience

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A passion for New Zealand performance and people

Basic knowledge of theatre production

Experience in a bar and hospitality setting

Experience in a non-profit organisation
-
Current Bar Manager’s Licence

A knowledge of the current NZ wine and craft beer scenes
-
Good understanding of spreadsheets and budgeting
-
PatronBase ticketing experience an advantage but not essential

An understanding and passion of the BATS strategic vision and values
-
A desire to see the NZ Arts Industry succeed
