After a successful tenure, Copyright Licensing New Zealand’s (CLNZ) Chief Executive is looking to hand over the mantle. This is a great opportunity to be part of an already positive organisational culture, to lead an engaged and high-performing team, and to continue empowering Aotearoa New Zealand to make the most of its creativity.
CLNZ helps everyone who copies and shares content text and visual arts content to do so legally. It plays a key role in making creative rights valuable assets for all those in Aotearoa New Zealand, be they copyright owners (authors, publishers and artists), or users such as educators and students.
CLNZ helps creative people to record and manage their copyright, as well as packaging their copyrighted material to make legal access easier for users. It is a non-profit organisation whose activities are commercial in the sense that it generates income for the creators of copyrighted work, as well as making licensing work for users.
