National Poetry Day will be on the 22nd of August this year, in association with the New Zealand Post Book Awards, and registrations are now open for the official calendar of events. Every year communities across the country stage a series of public events and activities that bring NZ poetry off the page and into the lives of as many people as possible.
All registered events and activities will be included in the official calendar of events promoted to the public. Once again, seed funding is available for up to $400 in the main centres and $200 everywhere else.
Event Registrations and Funding Applications both close on the 1st of July. You can register your events and apply for seed-funding online at the following links or by returning the forms at the back of the Guidelines Pack.
