Corban Estate Arts Centre - Tui Artist in Residence Announced

10 Dec 2019
Huge congratulations to Ena Kosovac who has been selected for the Corban Estate Arts Centre Tui Residency in 2020.

Huge congratulations to Ena Kosovac who has been selected for the Corban Estate Arts Centre Tui Residency in 2020.

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Ena Kosovac is a multidisciplinary artist, with a predominantly object-focused practice. She is currently undertaking her Doctoral candidate degree this year at Auckland University of Technology and is co-directing RM Gallery and Project Office as a member of the artist-run collective.

This residency provides an opportunity for an artist to experiment and work within the realm of ceramics without having a solely ceramic practice. Kosovacs proposal featured a diverse range of media and we are excited to see how she spends her time amongst our community of over 20 artists whom half work with sculptural forms.

She has received a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design, from Auckland University of Technology (2007), and graduated with a Master of Art & Design with Honours (First Class), Auckland University of Technology School of Art & Design (2009).

"The opportunity to experiment in my practice and engage with the outdoor locations of CEAC is really exciting. I'm also really looking forward to working alongside the other artists on site! I'm really thankful for the opportunity to dive deep and try things out within the support of CEAC's wonderful facilities."
