After careful consideration, much arguing & fierce debates, judges were able to select 6 winners from the 51 submissions. 2 runners up were selected instead of 1 second place due to the high caliber of the submissions.

The judges for this competition were Laughton Kora (Kora), Sven Pettersen (The Checks/Racing), Ed Knowles (The Checks/Racing), Taisha Tari (Artist) , Emme Lentino (Artist), Neil Baldock (Tui award winning engineer & Depot Sound Manager), Noah Page (NZ Music Commission Intern) & The Depot Artspace Team.

All winners receive 2 days of studio recording time, all runner-ups receive 1 day of studio recording time and all entrants receive a discounted $40+gst/hour rate for studio recording until 31 Jan 2022.
