The programme includes screenings of web series and YouTube channel awards finalists and web series world premieres.

NZ Web Fest will screen the world premiere of young Adult Sci-Fi/Thriller web series End of Term from Wellington-based filmmaker Chaz Harris, and screen a special screening of web series AFK by creator Peter Haynes, a series that follows the misadventures of a group of gamers who mysteriously wake up in the bodies of their MMO characters.
