Youth Arts Festival coming to West Auckland
VIBE Youth Arts Festival 2017 is coming to Corban Estate Arts Centre on Saturday 3 June, as part of Youth Week 2017.
Featuring internationally acclaimed DJ SPELL, the festival will include a variety of activities, workshops,street art, exhibitions, and live performances.
“Vibe is led by young people and many youth organisations and high school students are collaborating to produce a rich event that reflects the interests, concerns and youth cultures of West Auckland,” says Martin Sutcliffe, Director at Corban Estate Arts Centre.
The festival will bring together youth organisations, such as Zeal, McLaren Park Henderson South,Ranui 135, Kākano Youth Arts Collective, Mixit, the Crescendo Trust of Aotearoa and more from all over West Auckland.

ABOUT CORBAN ESTATE ARTS
The Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) is located at the historic Corban Winery Estate in Henderson, Waitakere City. The Arts Centre utilizes the historic winery buildings and is home to galleries which feature a changing programme of Exhibitions, a Gallery Shop, and Artist’s Studios. CEAC also offers a wide range of Arts and Cultural Events, and Education Programmes including Art Classes for Adults and Children and a Schools Education Programme. There are approximately 15 artists working on site including painters, sculptors, and ceramic artists.

Held every May/June, Youth Week is a nationwide festival of events organised by young New Zealanders to celebrate the talents, passion and success of local young people. Youth Week recognises the amazing contributions and achievements of young people in New Zealand. The week inspires us to value, support, and affirm the diversity of young people in our society.
