This year Auckland Mandolinata Orchestra will stage favourites chosen for all ages to brighten your day as winter turns to spring. Folk tunes from Russia, Greece, Italy and China with jaunty ragtime, blues and a familiar march.
Mandolinata Orchestra is the only mandolin performance group in New Zealand. With their wide range of music they are popular throughout the Auckland region. Some members join with their Australian colleagues for an annual festival of mandolin playing and in 2006 they will tour Germany and Holland.
