New Zealand composers Marshall Smith & Tom Fox of The Sound Room have just had one of their compositions 'Hope Springs Eternal' performed and recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London.

The piece was written for a series of music 'Calm before the Storm' for BSkyB - the UK's Sky broadcaster - and the largest in the world.

The orchestra was conducted by David Arnold who is well known for his work on scores for the James Bond movie series and with pop acts such as Massive Attack amongst many others.

The Royal Philharmonic is one of the most well known orchestras in the world and Marshall and Tom are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with such an accomplished group of musicians.

The piece can be heard on The Sound Room website.
