Singer / Songwriter/Producer Marshall from The New Freedom has been named as one of the 6 finalists in the 2004 APRA Silver Scroll awards for the song 'Grey Boy'. The other esteemed finalists are Liam Finn, Scribe & P-Money, Goodshirt, Dimmer & Trinity Roots.

www.apra.co.nzaThe winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in Wellington on the evening of 26 October. This success for The New Freedom follows on from their recent finalist placing in the Nashville Song Search 2004 for the song 'Old Mustang' - out of 1800 international entries.
