SAE Auckland New Songwriting Programme

Launching February 2024, this is a game-changer for all music lovers dreaming of being singer-songwriters or performers! With two awesome pathways: the Diploma in Songwriting and Musicianship, and the Bachelor of Songwriting, you have everything you need to master melody and lyric writing, composition, collaboration, live performance, and recording techniques.

UXBRIDGE Summer Programme: The HeART of Howick 

Step into the gem of East Auckland’s cultural community and explore your creative side this summer. Uxbridge Arts & Culture offers Auckland’s widest range of classes; explore popular pottery, stained glass and jewellery workshops. Gift your loved ones with your own creations in our candle and soapmaking classes. Discover new talents with expert-led lessons in kintsugi and bonsai. Expand those culinary talents in our cheesemaking masterclasses. Carefully curated season by season, our programme offers a world of new experiences including jam-packed kid’s holiday programmes.

Corbans Estate Summer School makes its eagerly awaited return this January


Offering a week-long retreat of immersive creativity for adults of all artistic abilities.

Whether you are an established artist; are seeking professional development; or are simply wanting to reconnect with your creative side, Summer School 2024 caters to all skill levels for a week of artistic self-discovery.

With eight different workshops tutored by some incredible NZ artists, Summer School 2024 would make a wonderful start to the new year and an excellent Christmas gift for someone looking for a rich artistic experience.

7 Wonders


A fun-filled summer arts project in the summer of 2024 with Toi Ora and Nightsong. Open to people 17yrs and older who have experienced/are experiencing mental health issues and who are curious to explore the creative arts, culminating in a shared performance.

"I Did it My Way" From the archive of Dame Malvina Major - Exhibition

National and internationally regarded opera soprano and renowned teacher of voice, Dame Malvina Major has recently gifted her archive of personal papers to the University of Waikato. In an exhibition showcasing a preview into this archive, sharing the touch points particularly rich in detail throughout her career, dive into her world this summer.

Creative Sparks Art Holiday Program
